Stronger together for our students
The James Kennedy Elementary Parents’ Advisory Council (JKE PAC) is a volunteer, non-profit organization that brings parents, guardians and educators together to support our school community. We promote the education and welfare of students, advocate for safe and inclusive schools, and build a strong sense of community among families, staff and our neighbourhood.
Our business is conducted free of any bias toward race, religion, gender, politics, sexual orientation, or physical or mental ability — always in the best interests of our children and public education.

Advocate for safe, equitable and inclusive schools for all of our children.
Encourage involvement
Encourage and welcome parent involvement and leadership in the school.
Build community
Foster connection among the school, students’ homes and the neighbourhood.
Advise & inform
Advise staff and the SD35 board, and provide a forum for educational issues.
Fundraise & enrich
Organize events — like our Christmas Market — to raise funds that support PAC goals.

Our annual Christmas Market brings local vendors and families together for a festive day of shopping and community spirit — with proceeds supporting students at James Kennedy Elementary. Vendor tables are booked through our online booking page.
